This July, join us for the RCMP Academy's vibrant Sunset Ceremonies, a Canadian cultural tradition for over 60 years that you can only find right here in Regina. This outdoor event features a foot-drill display by cadets in scarlet tunics, a field gun (cannon) drill, and the lowering of the Canadian flag to the sound of "Retreat". This is followed by a march past and salute to the review officer. There are 4 dates to choose from: Wed , July 1st Tues, July 7th Tues, July 14th Tues, July 21st Important "Know Before You Go" Information: - The RCMP Academy is a secure site; personal items may be searched. - Live field gun (cannon) and rifle fire may be included, so hearing protection is advised. - No pets allowed, but service dogs are welcome. - Bring a blanket or lawn chair as seating is not provided. - Guests with mobility needs are encouraged to arrive early.
