Regina has long been home to one of Canada’s most beloved music traditions but with the closure of the Regina Folk Festival, a meaningful cultural gap has emerged. It is one felt by audiences, artists, and the broader creative sector alike, so The Saskatchewan Cultural Exchange Society (The Exchange) is stepping forward to meet this moment. We are launching a new music festival that honors the spirit of what came before, while evolving to meet the needs of Regina today.
