About

Break out your rainbow gear and get ready to feel the love... The annual Queen City Pride Parade is back and this Q.C.P. signature event will fill Regina’s streets with rainbows, smiles, and pride! Regina's first Pride March in 1990 took place on the sidewalk because organizers were refused a permit. Participants wore masks and bags to cover their faces and protect their identities. Thirty-six years after that first march, the fight for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and equity continues but we proudly celebrate all the triumphs we've achieved so far. Today’s Pride Parades... the dancing, singing, and laughter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies alike... are a celebration of the journey that we have all taken to reach this point. The Queen City Pride Parade has grown to become one of Regina’s most colorful and recognized parades with over 120 entries alongside thousands of participants marching and spectators lining Regina’s streets to cheer on the parade. It is a feeling unlike any other to see thousands of people of every age, culture, and socioeconomic background come together to support the ideal that love is love and no matter your orientation, everyone is worthy of acceptance an
