Revocation is a critically acclaimed American technical death metal and thrash metal band formed in Boston, MA. Founded in 2000 (originally under the name Cryptic Warning) by front man and lead guitarist Dave Davidson, the band is widely celebrated for blending extreme metal aggression with highly complex, jazz-infused musicianship and virtuosic guitar solos. With support from Defeated Sanity, Fuming Mouth, and Weeping
