This is an in-person program for adult EAL learners. EAL Public Speaking for Beginners occurs on the following Saturdays: June 6, 13, 20, 27; July 4, 11, 18, 25; August 8, 15, 22, 29 Topics include Sharing Ideas So Everyone Understands, How Your Audience Affects You, Feeling Safe to Speak, Organizing Your Ideas, Planning Your Message, Spending Your Audience's Energy, Building Trust and Credibility, Presenting What Really Matters, Adapting to What's Happening Around You, Audience Interaction and Participation, and Reviewing and Improving.
