Registration opens on Saturday, May 30 at 12:00 pm. Using dyes created from berries, plants, and simple kitchen ingredients, participants will experiment with pattern and texture using brushes, sponges, and leaves. Some mixtures will include baking soda or vinegar, allowing colours to shift and react in surprising ways. Please dress for a messy activity. Bio: Instructor Sara McCreary is a Métis textile artist and a second-year graduate student in Visual Arts at the University of Regina. She has a strong background in sewing and patternmaking, and blends both traditional and modern techniques in her work, drawing inspiration from Métis visual culture. Her art includes embroidery, quilting, natural dyeing, beadwork, and leatherwork, and she explores how Métis material culture changes over ti
