About

Augurium is a death metal band from right here in Regina, formed in 2015 with the mission of creating the heaviest music in their community. Early on, they supported touring acts like Belphegor, Cryptopsy, Inanimate Existence, Signs of the Swarm, Vader, and Origin. They released their debut EP Omen and follow-up Unhallowed Ascendance, supporting both with shows across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. In 2018, a new guitarist joined and helped evolve Augurium’s sound, drawing influence from symphonic and melodic death metal bands like Fleshgod Apocalypse, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Soilwork.
