Registration Required . This program is conducted through Zoom. Register to receive a reminder, the evaluation, and any other resources. Registration opens on April 1 at 12:00 pm . Kristy Derksen will share her knowledge on how to make floral fish-scale earrings, using dyed fish scales, and adding beads along the edge. Fish scale art is a contemporary Indigenous art form that involves dyed fish scales applied to fabric or tanned leather. Artists harvest, clean, dry, and dye the scales from whitefish, which are then used to adorn items such as framed art pieces or jewelry. Program Dates : This program series runs on Wednesdays from May 6 to May 27th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Please plan to attend all sessions. This program is open to everyone, regardless of skill level, for beading. Materials
